On the morning of August 13, 2018 at the Hall of Construction Corporation No. 1 - Joint Stock Company, No. 111A Pasteur, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The Corporation conducted the 2018 Staff Conference.
Attending the Conference were the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Board of General Directors, the Supervisory Board, the Corporation's Trade Union, Heads/Deputies of Departments and Committees; Directors of Project Management Boards and all employees of the Corporation; Capital representative and General Director of subsidiaries and affiliated companies of the Corporation.
Mr. Le Huu Viet Duc, General Director summarized the formation and development process of the Corporation over the past 39 years. This year is also the second year that the Corporation operates under the equitization model, requiring the Corporation to restructure its business to make great strides and develop sustainably. The Corporation has signed a service contract with ERNST and YOUNG VIETNAM Co., Ltd. (Y&E) to advise on capacity improvement and corporate governance. In the period 2016 - 2025, the Corporation will develop business in an intensive manner, focusing resources on key economic sectors such as: Construction, Investment and other supporting industries. Put the interests, existence and development of the business first. The Corporation has also set out a vision and long-term development orientation, with the goal of striving to become the Top 3 largest Construction and Investment Corporations in Vietnam by 2025, with a capitalization of 1 billion USD.
Representative of Y&E Consulting Company presented the strategy and implementation plan for corporate restructuring so that employees can better understand the Corporation model from 2018 to 2025.
During the Conference, employees heard a report on the results of the Corporation's production and business activities in the first 6 months of 2018, the plan for the last 6 months of the year and implementation solutions to complete the 2018 plan.
Representatives of the Corporation's leaders spent time conversing with employees. All the enthusiastic contributions of the Employees are recognized and appreciated by the Corporation's leaders.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Tran Manh Tan, Chairman of the Union, supported the restructuring policy of the Corporation's leaders. Hopefully this strategy will be successful because we have a team of young workers with high qualifications, solid skills, solidarity and a tradition of nearly 40 years of building and developing businesses. The goals from now until the end of the year are very heavy. We are both restructuring the business and completing the yearly plan, which requires great efforts from the entire workforce.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation called on all officers and employees to further promote the spirit of solidarity, together with the Corporation's leaders to well implement the solutions, completing the planned targets. Raise awareness and responsibility to best complete your work.
