Occupational safety and health training is one of the mandatory contents of labor protection in order to provide knowledge and practice skills, help employers proactively develop and implement plans and measures for occupational safety and health and employees know how to practice occupational safety and health, and handle situations in the process of production labor.
Stemming from the importance of ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, on May 17, 2019, CC1 Corporation's Trade Union coordinated with the Legal Organization Department to organize occupational safety and hygiene training for employees. Employers in groups 1 and 2 (Decree 44/2016 ND-CP dated May 15, 2016 of the Government) at the Corporation Hall.
Attending the training class, there was the presence of comrade Nguyen Cong Khai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Members of the Board of Directors of the Corporation and 104 comrades who are members of the Board of Directors, Board of General Directors and Heads/Deputies of departments of 22 units of the Corporation's union system.
The instructor of the training class is Dr. Tran Thuc Tai, Ho Chi Minh City Open University; Instructor of Southern Regional Safety Training Company.
At the training class, comrades heard practical and important information such as: System of policies and laws on occupational safety and health; System of documents of relevant ministries; Occupational safety and health work, organization of the management apparatus and implementation of regulations on occupational safety and health at establishments. Basic knowledge of harmful dangerous factors in production and preventive remedies; Rights and obligations of employers and employees in labor protection work; Specialized training content, etc.
After the end of the training class, comrades who take the test and meet the requirements will be issued a Certificate.
Also in May 2019, the Trade Union coordinated with experts to organize practical activities in response to the 3rd Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in 2019 with the theme “Strengthening the assessment and management of occupational safety and hygiene risks in the workplace”: Launching propaganda, printing and distributing publications on the topic of labor safety; hanging banners and propaganda posters in production areas and construction sites for an amount of 12.5 million VND; Organized visits and gifts for 17 workers facing difficulties due to labor accidents and occupational diseases; inspected labor safety at 08 member units and projects of the Corporation.
