On the morning of August 17, 2019, at the sports center of Binh Thanh district in Ho Chi Minh City, CC1 Corporation opened the CC1 Sports Festival to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Vietnam Trade Union establishment (28/7/1929- 28/7/2019) and the 40th anniversary of Construction Corporation No. 1 establishment (01/10/1979-01/10/2019).

The games took place from 17th of August, 2019 to 14th of September, 2019; competing in 3 sports: Mini football, Tennis, Tug-of-war; attracting the participation of more than 300 athletes including members from affiliated grassroots trade unions and partner units.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Dung, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation said that the CC1 Sports Festival aims to promote the movement of physical exercise, sports and health training for union members and employees with the spirit of "Sports - Fun - Health - Solidarity". This is an opportunity for athletes to learn and exchange, improve the spirit of physical training and health to work and produce, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, strengthening solidarity, encouraging cadres, union members and employees to enthusiastically strive towards the successful production and business plan completion in 2019, practically celebrate the 40th establishment anniversary of Construction Corporation no.1 - JSC (CC1).

Immediately after the opening ceremony, there were exciting and dramatic football matches. The athletes showed a positive, honest competing attitude, respect for the rules and regulation of the Sport Festival to attain the highest achievements. This is really a cultural festival, a symbol of solidarity, a place to learn, connect and exchange to build friendship, cooperation and development between affiliated and partner units.
