Construction Corporation No. 1 organized the Sport Festival to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its establishment (01/10/1979-01/10/2019). After nearly 1 month of competition, the CC1 Sport Festival 2019 ended successfully. The closing ceremony was held on the morning of September 14, 2019 after the finale of football, tennis and tug of war at 152 Nguyen Oanh Stadium, Ward 7, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City.

      Attending the Sport Festival closing and award ceremony were Mr. Le Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Corporation’s Board of Directors; Ms. Vu Thi To Tam - Chairwoman of the Trade Union and Misters/Misses Deputy General Director, Director of Departments of the Corporation; Directors of affiliated units, members, subsidiaries, affiliated companies. Standing Committee of the Corporation's Trade Union, Presidents of affiliated grassroots trade unions. Especially, the presence of nearly 200 athletes and the cheerleaders exhort enthusiastically for the athletes throughout the competition.

      Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Le Dung – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation shared: The sports festival is a great day for CC1, bringing us many emotions. Those who participate in the festivals have unforgettable impressions and memories. This is a healthy, rewarding playground, showing us a CC1 version that is full of spirit and aspiration; a CC1 with a long history, big brand, trust of partners and customers. Through the competition, we feel more and more the joy, excitement, warm exchange of solidarity after the hard days of work. We have all been winners, victorious in passion, in determination and in solidarity.

      The Organizing Committee of the Festival honored and granted 30 awards to individuals and collectives who achieved high performance in 3 categories. Cups and prizes worth more than 50 million VND in total.

      The festival has brought a rewarding and meaningful playground to help the officers, union members and workers strengthen their health, spirit and solidarity while leaving a good legacy in the hearts of athletes as well as a large number of participants. Thereby contributing to encouraging labor spirit, creating motivation and love for the sectors and professions, determined to strive towards the successful professional tasks completion in 2019, while confidently entering a new development stage in the following years.
