(BDT) - The consortium of Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan) - Hyundai Engineering and Construction (Korea) - Construction Corporation No. 1 (referred to as the MC - HDEC - CC1 Joint Venture) has just been awarded by Vietnam Electricity (EVN) EVN) approved the winning bid package No. 15 (EPC-QT1) Design, supply of goods and construction (EPC) Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant Project.

The above bidding package belongs to Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant Project. Funding for the project implementation comes from EVN's capital and domestic commercial loans. The form of contractor selection is international open bidding, the one-stage two-envelope method.

At the time of bid closing, 2 bidders submitted their bids. The MC - HDEC - CC1 consortium won the bid for VND 30,236.41 billion, down VND 4.1 billion compared to the package price. The Daewoo E&C – LILAMA consortium was eliminated in the evaluation of technical proposals. (read more..)
