On the morning of February 17, the Board of Directors of the Tra Vinh General Hospital construction project (700-bed hospital) held a ceremony to launch the competition, complete and hand over the project before April 20, 2022. Mr. Le Huu Viet Duc, General Director of Construction Corporation No. 1, Ministry of Construction; Mr. Tran Dac Thanh, Deputy Director of Tra Vinh Department of Health attended.

The Tra Vinh Provincial General Hospital construction project is invested by the Tra Vinh Department of Health, built on an area of over 16.6 hectares located in Ward 7, Tra Vinh city. This is a level 1 civil project with a scale of 700 hospital beds and 25 items. Including 23 construction items and 02 equipment items. Total project investment is about 1,600 billion VND.

Construction started on January 14, 2019. Up to now, basic construction work has been completed for the main blocks - Radiotherapy Department; sub-blocks (Department of Psychiatry, Department of Infection Control, Department of Infectious Diseases, electrical house, medical gas house...).
