On May 30, 2022 and May 31, 2022, CC1 organized a program to praise and reward individuals with outstanding achievements in implementation and completion of Long Son Petrochemical complex project.
The program took place over two days at CC1 office (Ho Chi Minh City) and the construction site operator of Long Son Petrochemical Complex Project (Ba Ria – Vung Tau), with the participation of Mr. Nguyen Van Huan – Chairman of the Board, Mr. Phan Van Chinh – Deputy General Manager, Mr. Pham Van Ky Trung – Deputy General Manager, Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoc – Director of Material Supplies, Head of the Board of Directors department, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao Tran – Director of the Administrative & Human Resources and especially the presence of 30 employees who have had excellent achievements in organizing, implementing and operating the Long Son Petrochemical Complex Project.
The award has been given to the Executive Board, Civil and Industrial Project Management Department, Bidding Selection Team of Long Son Petrochemical Complex Project.
In 2021, the sudden volatility of the market due to the COVID-19 epidemic has posed many difficulties and challenges for the construction industry in general and CC1 staff in particular. Overcoming the challenges, some individuals have made efforts, affirmed their bravery, and exceeded the target set for Long Son Petrochemical Complex Project for package A1-Olefins, B-HDPE, C-PP. This is a national key project, one of the most important projects in Vietnam’s heavy industry in the following years with a sum up to 5.4 billion USD of investment capital.
Mr. Dinh Van Hung – Head of CC1 Project Management Department and Project Director of Petrochemical Complex briefed on the results of the project implementation, while learning on the advantages, disadvantages, achievements and sharing the experiences to other project teams, departments to continue promoting in the near future.
Also within the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Dao – Chairman of CC1 Board of Directors highly appreciated the efforts of individuals who have accomplished impressive attainments amid nowadays difficult market situations.
As he said: “Our strategic goal of becoming the leading contractor in Vietnam is gradually being realized, what CC1 aims to do is to build quality, on schedule, highly economically efficient works and this Long Son project is off to a positive start. This is a project that deserves to be commended and rewarded, we not only achieved the set goals but also exceeded the plan in some dominant norms”.
Through this commending program, the individuals and collectives who perform remarkably well were encouraged, motivated to work their best for CC1’s projects. The role of reward emulation activities has become a strong spreading factor, striving enthusiastically for labor, in order to contribute to the attaining business efficiency and sustainable development of the company.
