This is a component project of the East North-South Expressway construction project in the period of 2021 - 2025. The component project of the Can Tho - Hau Giang section has a length of 37.65km passing through Can Tho area. , Hau Giang. The project has the starting point intersecting with the South Song Hau road, the ending point at Vi Thuy district, Hau Giang. The route will be invested with 4 complete lanes.

This entire project has a single construction and installation contract. The appointed contractor is a joint venture of Truong Son Construction Corporation – 36 Corporation – Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) – VNCN E&C Engineering and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company – Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company. The appointment price is more than 7,555 billion VND, the contract execution time is 1,020 days. This bidding package is appointed as the consulting contractor by the consortium of Southern Transport Design Consultancy Joint Stock Company and the Southern Institute of Road and Bridge Construction Technology.
