On the morning of July 8, 2023, at the Consortium Housing Area of General Contractor CC1 - HDEC, the Trade Union of the Project Management Board of Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant organized the Opening Ceremony of the Sports Event with the participation of a large number of union members in the project.

The Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant Project is the first project in which CC1 participates as a Consortium General Contractor for EPC, alongside Hyundai E&C (Korea) and Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan). This is a national key project in the field of energy industry, expected to bring about a new breakthrough for the development of the energy industry in Quang Binh province.

In celebration of the 2nd anniversary of the establishment of the Project Management Board of Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant (01/07/2021 – 01/07/2023) and to congratulate the collective for successfully completing the plan for the first six months of 2023, the Trade Union of the Project Management Board of Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant organized a Sports Event on July 8th and 9th, 2023 at the Consortium Housing Area of General Contractor CC1 - HDEC

Participating in the Sports Event were Mr. Tran Ngoc Hau – Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Ha Dinh Nien – Director of the Project Management Board of Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant; Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hoan – Deputy Director of the Project Management Board of Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant; Mr. Dang Huy Phu – Director of Phu Hoang Minh Contractor, along with 9 subcontractors involved in the project. Additionally, there were over 100 athletes and hundreds of spectators cheering them on

With the aim of enhancing cultural and sports activities to improve the spiritual life, physical fitness, and teamwork skills of the union members, as well as providing a healthy playground for exchange, learning, and continuing the tradition of unity at the workplace, the Sports Event attracted 12 participating teams in three disciplines: volleyball, men's singles table tennis, and football. The teams competed with a spirit of healthy competition, showing respect for their opponents and adhering to the rules set out by the Sports Event.

In the overall results, in the volleyball category, CC1 excellently clinched the First Prize. Particularly, in the football final, CC1 triumphed over the formidable opponent, the Consortium of Contractors BEC – Khang Duc – Tri Nhan, with a score of 2-0, thanks to goals by players Vo Huy Tuyen and Do Duc Toan, securing CC1 the championship title. At the end of the match, CC1's player Do Duc Toan was honored as the Top Scorer with 5 outstanding goals, leaving a special mark in the Sports Event.

The award ceremony took place at 6:00 PM on July 9, 2023, marking an enthusiastic and highly successful Sports Event. The outstanding athletes from various sports were honored and received well-deserved awards.

This sports event has created an engaging athletic platform, bringing joy and unity to all participating union members. Through competition, team spirit, and a passion for sports, all members of CC1 at the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant Project have come together to create memorable moments, build close relationships, and strengthen teamwork spirit on the project
