On July 14, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Trade Union of Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (CC1) successfully organized the X Trade Union Congress, term 2023 - 2028.

Attending the congress, there were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Le - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union; Mr. Dang Ngoc Diep - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organizing and Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Construction Union and leaders representing the Trade Unions of units under the Vietnam Construction Union.

Representing the leaders of Construction Corporation No. 1 - Joint Stock Company, there are Mr. Hoang Trung Thanh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director of the Corporation, Mr. Le Bao Anh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of the Corporation. and Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao Tran - Director of Administration - Human Resources.

The Congress was attended by 102 outstanding delegates representing 3,066 officers, union members, and workers under the Corporation's Trade Union.

At the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Construction Corporation No. 1 - Joint Stock Company term IX presented a summary report, evaluating the activities of the 2017 - 2023 term and setting out directions, tasks for the new term. The report clearly points out the advantages and difficulties in the past term.

Effort to overcome challenges

The period 2017 - 2023 is a challenging time for the Construction industry as well as Construction Corporation No. 1 - Joint Stock Company (CC1). At the end of 2020, CC1 completed the transition from a joint stock enterprise with state capital to a completely private economic group model. It can be said that this is a historic Trade Union term associated with a new turning point in the formation and development process of the Corporation.

Under the close guidance of the Party Committee and orientation from the Leaders, during the term, the Trade Union of Construction Corporation No. 1 - Joint Stock Company has always strived to act with the message "Accompanying to reach far - sharing to grow strong". With practical activities, the Corporation's Trade Union has performed a very good role as a bridge between workers and the Board of Directors, building a scientific working habit and an open communication space for employees. Employees can boldly express their thoughts and contribute opinions on all activities of CC1.

In addition, the work of gratitude and gratitude with the spirit of "when drinking water, remember the source" during the past term, the Corporation's Trade Union actively participated in many activities and contributed tens of billions of VND to build "funds". For children", "for the poor", "for victims of Agent Orange", "colleagues fund", supporting savings books for families of wounded and sick soldiers in localities, supporting nursing care. throughout the lives of 08 heroic Vietnamese Mothers...

Perform the function of representing and protecting workers well

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Le - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union praised the achievements during the past term of the General Trade Union. Company and affirmed that these achievements have contributed to the overall success of the Vietnam Construction Union.

Ms. Thuy Le emphasized: “The Trade Union of Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC needs to continue to propagate and disseminate to workers the advantages and challenges of the industry to create consensus in implementing the policies of the State and CC1. . At the same time, perform well the function of representing and protecting workers to better care for workers and improve the quality of Trade Union officials in the new situation, worthy of the tradition of more than 44 years of establishment. and development that generations of CC1 officials and workers have worked hard to cultivate.”

Also at the Congress, General Director of Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC - Mr. Le Bao Anh acknowledged and expressed his sincere thanks to the Corporation's Trade Union in the past term for doing very good work. Propagate and mobilize employees to adapt to the new stage of development, with many effective innovations associated with the system's business goals and strategies.
