On the morning of April 5, 2024, Construction Corporation No. 1 - Joint Stock Company (CC1) representing the Contractor Consortium organized the Construction Deployment Ceremony of project items under the EPC package - Na Na Thermal Power Plant. Duong II in Zone IV, Na Duong town, Loc Binh district, Lang Son province.

Attending the Deployment Ceremony, on the part of local leaders, there was the presence of Mr. Ho Tien Thieu - Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Hoang Van Chieu - Chairman of Loc Binh District People's Committee. On the side of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group, there is Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Board of Directors; Mr. Khuat Manh Thang - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Mr. Tran Hai Binh - Deputy General Director. On the side of TKV Electricity Corporation - Joint Stock Company, there was Mr. Ngo The Phiet - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Ngo Tri Thinh - Party Committee Secretary, General Director. On CC1's side, there was Mr. Le Bao Anh - General Director and management level staff. On the side of DR contractor (China), there is Mr. Liu Wei - Project Director; representatives of Viet Bac Mining Industry Corporation, Institute of Energy, Power Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 1 and related delegates and guests.

Na Duong II Thermal Power Plant Project is invested by the Electricity Corporation - TKV under the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group with a capacity of 110 MW, including 1 unit, using a boiler. CFB + 01 turbine + 01 generator with operating hours of about 6,500 hours/year. Total investment after tax is nearly 4,100 billion VND.

As the leading contractor in the joint venture, CC1 carries out a proportion of work of about 85%, including main items such as: survey, design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, delivery, loading and unloading. at the construction site, insurance, construction, installation, inspection, testing, adjustment, acceptance, trial run, training, technology transfer and warranty for all works/materials and equipment for the project judgment. The contract implementation period is 30 months, a package contract type.

Since the time of winning the bid, the CC1 - DR Joint Venture has prepared the preparations to carry out construction. From personnel to machinery and materials serving the project, CC1 - DR is strictly controlled to ensure project quality and progress.

It is expected that when put into operation in 2026, Na Duong II Thermal Power Plant will provide about 750 million kWh/year to the national grid, contributing to ensuring energy security for Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces. and the Northeast region. On the other hand, the investment in Na Duong II Thermal Power Plant will also create jobs for hundreds of workers during the construction and operation phase, contributing to improving the lives of local people and increasing budget payments. The State annually, at the same time effectively uses coal resources at Na Duong coal mine and is a large, stable coal consumer throughout the period lasting 30-40 years since the unit came into operation, with The factory's annual consumption is about 500,000 tons/year.
