On the morning of November 9, 2024, in Dong Nai province, the groundbreaking ceremony of package No. 4.8 of the Long Thanh International Airport Construction Investment Project, Phase 1, took place. This groundbreaking ceremony officially marked a step forward in the cooperation between the Investor - ACV and CC1 and the members of the Joint Venture: Truong Son Construction Corporation - Phuong Thanh Transport Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company - Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation - Asia Industrial Engineering Joint Stock Company - Information Technology Application and Development Joint Stock Company - Vietnam Construction Investment Development Joint Stock Company - Dacinco Construction Investment Company Limited - Construction and Installation Joint Stock Company 368.

Package No. 4.8 was broken ground, including:: Construction, equipment installation, design of construction drawings for internal port traffic works and airport technical infrastructure under Component Project 3, essential works in the airport under the Long Thanh International Airport Construction Investment Project Phase 1. The winning bid price is 11,066.896 billion VND; the implementation period of the package is 685 days from the groundbreaking date including holidays, Tet,... according to regulations.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of package 4.8, the representative of Army Corps 12 - Truong Son Construction Corporation - 9-member consortium of contractors, Major General Nguyen Huu Ngoc shared:
“After the groundbreaking, we will immediately implement to ensure the reputation and brand of the Contractors selected by the Investor. I would like to represent the Contractors to thank the ACV Leaders and the Project Management Board for organizing the objective and legal bidding to select our Contractors.”
As one of the 9 members of the Joint Venture participating in Package 4.8 of the project, CC1 always believes and commits to the support and good coordination of the Investor and the members of the Joint Venture to successfully implement the project, ensuring quality, progress, labor safety and environmental sanitation at Long Thanh International Airport - one of the key projects of the country.
In addition to package 4.8, CC1 is currently one of 10 members of the VIETUR consortium, which won package 5.10 at the Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1 project, worth more than VND35,000 billion in August 2023. This package includes construction and equipment installation for the passenger terminal - one of the core items of the project. By August, CC1 had completed the topping out of this item, marking an important milestone in the construction progress of the largest airport in Vietnam today. Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1 will be operational in 2026, with a capacity to serve 25 million passengers/year and 1.2 million tons of cargo/year.
It is known that CC1 is currently participating in many other key projects, contributing to promoting national infrastructure and economy, including: Passenger Terminal T3 - Tan Son Nhat International Airport; Ho Chi Minh City Circus Project - Na Duong II Thermal Power Plant; Dai Ngai 2 Bridge on National Highway 60 connecting Tra Vinh - Soc Trang, and two construction packages of Ring Road 3 through Binh Duong and Thu Duc City (Ho Chi Minh City). These projects not only demonstrate CC1's capacity and commitment to key projects but also demonstrate the enterprise's contribution to the synchronous and sustainable development of national infrastructure./.
