EXCITED TO JOIN THE TOPIC SHARING SESSION OF CC1 IN COLLABORATION WITH HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE

On the morning of November 29, 2024, Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (CC1) cooperated with Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture to organize a seminar on Construction methods for digging underground stations of Metro Line No. 1 and quality management system in construction.

The program took place in a cozy atmosphere with the presence of representatives from both sides. On the side of CC1, there were Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc, Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khoi - Director of Technical Department and related management staff. On the side of Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Quang Thanh - Head of Construction Department, Dr. Pham Ha Hai - Deputy Head of Urban Infrastructure Engineering Department and lecturers from related departments.

At the beginning of the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Quang Thanh - Head of the Faculty of Construction thanked CC1 for always accompanying the school in consulting, guiding, training and creating suitable job opportunities for students.

Responding to the school’s sentiments, on behalf of CC1, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khoi – Director of Technical Division shared that CC1 highly values the exchange programs with students, thereby expanding the opportunity to welcome high-quality human resources from the school. At the same time, CC1 hopes that this is also an opportunity for students to gain more practical knowledge to confidently prepare for life.

Next, Ms. Nguyen Hong Thanh - Manager of CC1's Human Resources Strategic Partnership Department shared about CC1's history, key projects and achievements over the years. In addition, Ms. Nguyen Hong Thanh mentioned job opportunities in the right major so that students can develop their careers at CC1.

Immediately after that, Grandfather Tran Thanh Thien - Manager of Design and BIM Department presented the first topic on Construction methods for underground stations of Metro Line 1, citing and analyzing the implementation and construction process of two underground stations where CC1 is the construction contractor: Ba Son underground station and City Theater underground station of Metro Line 1.

One issue that students of the Faculty of Construction and Urban Infrastructure Engineering are interested in is the quality management system in the construction of civil, industrial, traffic and technical infrastructure works, which was shared by Mr. Nguyen Le Minh - Head of Quality Management Department CC1 in the program.

Also at the thematic exchange session, in addition to the presentations from the reporters, the students asked many interesting questions.
