On March 24, 2022, Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) together with Traffic Construction Corporation 6 – JSC (CIENCO6) signed a contract for the construction of Package 4 of the renovation project. and upgrading National Highway 5 in Cambodia. This is the first step in CC1's strategic vision of reaching out to foreign markets and pursuing the goal of becoming a prestigious and world-class construction group of CC1.
After a period of exploration and preparation of resources, Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (CC1) is ready to deploy cooperation to foreign markets with an overseas project starting in Cambodia. That is reflected in the signing ceremony of Contract for Construction of Package 4, renovation and upgrading of National Highway 5 with the Ministry of Transport and Public Works of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of the Investor, Mr. Sun Chanthol - Minister of Transport and Public Works of the Kingdom of Cambodia, leaders of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, Mr. Le Huu Viet Duc - General Director of CC1 and other representatives. of the Contractor's Consortium.
Accordingly, the investment project to build the Sri Sophorn - Poipet route in Cambodia has a length of 35.14 km. The project includes key contents such as: Expanding asphalt roads, constructing drainage systems, safety systems and traffic signs, etc. Estimated construction time is 32 months with contract value. nearly 53 million USD. At the signing ceremony, the CC1-CIENCO6 contractor consortium committed to complete the project on schedule, ensuring quality, labor safety and environmental sanitation. At the same time, through this project is also an opportunity to tighten diplomatic relations between the two neighboring countries Vietnam and Cambodia.
With technical advantages and experience in construction and project management along with financial potential, CC1 is one of the rare units to conquer and reach out to the foreign construction market with large-scale projects.
