Ho Chi Minh City, August 23, 2024 - The CC1 Championship 2024 football tournament officially opened, gathering 192 players who are officers and employees of Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC and its member and affiliated companies.
The program welcomed the participation of Mr. Tran Minh Doanh - Deputy General Director; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao Tran - Director of Administration - Human Resources and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hung - Chairman of the Trade Union of the Corporation. This year's tournament attracted 16 participating teams including allied teams from CC1 Project Management Boards across the country. In particular, this is the opening activity for a series of programs celebrating the 45th anniversary of the establishment of Construction Corporation No. 1.
At the opening ceremony, the representative of the Board of Directors of the Company, Mr. Tran Minh Doanh sent his best wishes for the success of the tournament. He wished all employees to enjoy an exciting, joyful and energetic atmosphere after stressful working hours. Accordingly, the tournament is an opportunity for member companies, affiliated companies and CC1 staff in departments to meet, exchange, establish relationships and promote cooperation, and support each other in production and business activities.
Representative of the Trade Union of the Corporation, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hung shared the cultural and sports activities organized by the Company to encourage employees to develop a positive working environment, strengthen connections and raise awareness of health and physical training.
On behalf of the Company's employees, Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung - Finance Department, on behalf of the Company, expressed his most sincere thanks to the Party Committee, Board of Directors, Trade Union, Youth Union and Organizing Committee for organizing today's tournament. With enthusiasm, youthfulness, daring to commit, having fun - playing hard, he believes that the tournament will be a great success.
Closing the opening ceremony, Mr. Huynh Cong Quan - representative of the Referee Team pledged, in the spirit of fair-play competition, to wish the athletes success and ensure absolute safety to avoid unnecessary injuries.
The qualifying round of the football tournament will take place on August 24 and 25. The knockout rounds, including the quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals, will be held on September 21-22, 2024. As planned, in the series of activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary, in addition to football, Construction Corporation No. 1 will combine online running and badminton in August and September.
