Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1) is gradually affirming its reputation and capacity at the Long Thanh International Airport project, a national key project, when undertaking both large packages 5.10 (passenger terminal) and 4.8 (internal port infrastructure). Not only ensuring progress, CC1 also meets strict quality requirements, demonstrating the professionalism and high responsibility of the entire team.
The Long Thanh International Airport project is one of the largest infrastructure projects in Vietnam, with a total area of over 5,000 hectares and a total estimated investment of VND336,630 billion. The project is divided into several phases, of which phase 1 aims to complete a runway and a passenger terminal with a capacity of 25 million passengers and 1.2 million tons of cargo per year, expected to be put into operation from 2026.
To date, Package 5.10 – construction of the passenger terminal – has achieved important milestones. All concrete structure construction work has been completed, creating a solid foundation for the following items. The construction of the walls of the floors has gradually been completed, ensuring progress and quality.
After the Lunar New Year holiday, finishing works such as plastering, painting, door installation, tiling, and exterior glass wall installation will be accelerated to ensure the committed progress.
Meanwhile, with package 4.8, underground works and overpasses are still being urgently deployed. At tunnel 7, CC1 aims to complete 3/32 segments before Tet and continue construction to achieve the goal of completing the entire project by May 30, 2025.
Tunnel No. 1 is also being accelerated, with a plan to complete before June 25, 2025. At the same time, the construction of TB12 viaduct has completed 10/118 bored piles, aiming for the progress milestone on April 14, 2026.
