QLBP Research & Development


Job Description:
1. Research, develop and apply new technologies and materials in the construction field according to the annual orientation of the Corporation.
2. Coordinate with Subcontractors/ Suppliers/ Manufacturers to research technical solutions and optimal construction methods to apply to construction.
3. Participate in planning internal human resource strategies for the Research & Development Department
4. Effectively manage the work performance of the Research & Development Department's staff.
5. Coordinate with functional Departments/Offices to develop and complete the Department's professional training documents.
6. Participate in annual training according to the Corporation's orientation.
Job Requirements:
1. Knowledge, Experience, Professional Skills
– Education: Engineer / Architect / Master
– Training major: Materials Engineering / Construction Engineering / Architecture
– Professional/professional certificates: Construction Design Certificate and other degrees (if any).
– Working experience: Minimum 10 years in the position of construction engineering/survey/architecture/construction materials research, with achievements in technical research management.
– English proficiency: Ability to read and understand specialized English documents.
– Computer skills: Proficiency in office software such as MS Office, MS Project, and construction-related application software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navitworks, BIM360, Archicad, Sketch up, ... is an advantage.
– Professional capacity requirements:
+ Have in-depth knowledge of new technology applications, materials, technical solutions and construction methods in the construction industry.
+ Grasp the development and trends of new technologies and materials in the construction industry.
+ Establish and improve processes, forms, tools and other instruments related to R&D activities, such as: new technologies, materials, optimal technical and construction solutions, etc.
+ Ability to analyze, evaluate and research the application of new materials and technologies to projects.
+ Knowledge of suppliers, manufacturers and products available locally and in overseas markets.

– Have skills to analyze, synthesize and manage risks in the project
